Whether you live in California, Texas or anywhere in between, allergy season is beginning! Those on the East or North are still under snow (one benefit!) and are not in allergy season yet. Many people in Texas have “Cedar” allergies and soon “Oak” allergies. The common medical approach is the use of antihistamine’s. Canada reported in 1994 that three commonly used antihistamine’s could spur cancer growth. These drugs were Claritin (Loratadine), Hismanal (astemizole) and Atarax. Researchers suggested a warning label on the drugs but U.S. officials refused.
